This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on the mathematical problem-solving abilities of fifth-grade students at SDN 005 Langgini. The background of this study is the low ability of students in understanding problems, planning, implementing solutions, and drawing conclusions on mathematical story problems. The research method used is a quasi-experimental design with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The study population is fifth-grade students of SDN 005 Langgini. Class VB is designated as the experimental group with the PjBL model treatment, while Class VA is the control group with the conventional model. The results of data analysis using the t-test showed a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.021 (<0.05). This indicates that there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups, where the PjBL model has a positive contribution to improving students' problem-solving abilities.
